AmCham President of the Board of Directors Participates in EU Enlargement and the Western Balkans Seminar

AmCham President of the Board of Directors Ljupco Georgiev participated in the EU Enlargement and the Western Balkans: Prospects, Challenges and Opportunities seminar.

The seminar explored the challenges and opportunities posed by the EU accession process on Western Balkan countries and the impact of COVID-19 on national economies and healthcare sectors.

Among the participants of the conference were Sem Fabrizi, Head of the EU delegation to the Republic of Serbia, Ana Hrustanović, Serbian Ambassador to the EU, Tanja Fajon, MEP/Chair of the European Parliament’s delegation to Serbia, Zoran Petrovic, CEO of the Raiffeisen Bank in Serbia, Amalija Pavić, Vice-Chair to the Executive Director of AmCham Serbia and Dusan Tomic, Partner at the E&Y in Serbia.

Mr. Georgiev spoke about the range of challenges and obstacles businesses face today and emphasised the importance of digitalization as one of the preconditions for the further development of businesses and for the economic growth of the Republic of North Macedonia.
