Cementarnica USJE AD donates 50,000 EUR to the Ministry of Health for the purchase of medical equipment. Funds will be used for the procurement of medical equipment, which, in consultation with expert teams from the Ministry of Health, is currently indispensable in the activities related to the COVID-19 virus. As a socially responsible company, in these delicate times, USJE has extended assistance through a donation to procure equipment that will enable medical staff to work smoothly and safely and perform their duties amid a pandemic, as public health is our common responsibility.
Bearing in mind the seriousness of the situation in society, USJE has offered assistance to the relevant institutions with which it is in constant communication since it is more than clear that it is extremely important for everyone to be involved and to provide support and assistance in the area in which the competent authorities consider to be most needed.
Within the company, USJE takes all necessary measures to protect against further spread of COVID-19 and fully implements all the measures taken so far by the Government. In the coming period, Cementarnica USJE AD remains a constructive community partner in efforts to limit the pandemic and reduce the adverse effects on human health.
