Apart from being a high recognition for the achieved results in the bank&#8217;s operations, the significance of the award is even greater because it is a recognition for the leadership shown by the Bank this year in which the country, as well as the whole world, is facing a pandemic of unprecedented proportions. The award from The Banker is awarded to Komercijalna Banka for the 8th time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Mrs. Maja Stevkova Sterieva, Ph.D., Chief Finance Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Komercijalna Banka, addressed the official awarding ceremony, which took place last night (December 2, 2020) in London via an Internet presentation due to the extraordinary conditions imposed by the Covid-19 virus. &nbsp;In her address, Mrs. Maja Stevkova Sterieva, Ph.D., thanked on behalf of the team of Komercijalna Banka for being awarded this prestigious award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;This year has been and still is very difficult due to the conditions imposed by the Covid-19 virus. We engage all out efforts to maintain continuity in our activities and to provide all banking services to our customers in a way that provides health protection. We will continue to work in the same way in the future&#8221;, said Mrs. Stevkova Sterieva.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">For this award, being considered as &#8220;banking excellence standard&#8221;, The Banker Magazine (publication of Financial Times) reviews a wide range of criteria. The award is given to banks that have shown successful financial results, success in the overall business strategy by which they have achieved a competitive advantage, improvement and development of technology and products and services, as well as an appropriate response to the crisis imposed by Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/iwmndev.com\/amcham2021\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Untitled-1-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11692 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The Banker magazine considers 2020 a year in which, more than ever, the banking sector is facing unprecedented challenges. In choosing the best banks, the members of the jury paid special attention to banks that were leaders in meeting the needs of customers and maintaining flexibility in a pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The achieved results every year rank Komercijalna Banka at the very top in the Macedonian banking sector.
