While the rapid development and deployment of vaccines offers hope for a robust economic recovery in the United States, the pandemic highlighted the need for strong U.S. leadership on the international stage to reinvigorate growth, strengthen trade and build resilient supply chains to support a global recovery. Investing in U.S. competitiveness and joining hands with our allies and partners will be critical in building a better and more inclusive future \u2013 creating healthier communities, supporting entrepreneurship, and expanding access to innovative technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With these goals in mind, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce convened its inaugural Global Forum on Economic Recovery on May 18 and 19, 2021, led by U.S. Chamber CEO and President Suzanne Clark, and hosted in partnership with Amazon, Google, and UPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the first day of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce\u2019s Global Forum on Economic Recovery, speakers from the public and private sectors discussed opportunities and impediments to a dynamic global recovery, while during the second the focus was primarily on better positioning the U.S. economy for growth and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event had more than 30 speakers among which 15 CEO\u2019s or Presidents, and was attended by more than 5100 live viewers across 132 countries around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Videos of both days are available here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uschamber.com\/on-demand\/international?utm_medium=Email&amp;utm_source=SFMC&amp;utm_campaign=&amp;utm_content=\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/www.uschamber.com\/on-demand\/international?utm_medium=Email&amp;utm_source=SFMC&amp;utm_campaign=&amp;utm_content= (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">https:\/\/www.uschamber.com\/on-demand\/international?utm_medium=Email&amp;utm_source=SFMC&amp;utm_campaign=&amp;utm_content=<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The global pandemic created an unprecedented economic and health crisis for the United States and the world.
