Given that IPR protection is linked to economic growth and technology dissemination, continuous protection will ultimately lead to results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recent decades, there has been an increase of focus on IPR\u202fand their micro and macroeconomic implications, as they are considered as\u202fcritical in encouraging innovation, fostering technological advancement, and stimulating economic growth, while also giving a distinct competitive advantage.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to the pervasive violation of our members&#8217; IPR\u202fand data showing a 70% reduction in the number of custom cases of reported IPR violation for imported goods from 2018\/2019 to 2021\/2022, AmCham is reintroducing the topic of IPR as one of its key priorities.
