Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje Donated 336,600€ To The Public Health Institutions

Two ambulances, 280 oxygen concentrators, non-invasive ventilation masks and 7,120 Covid-19 tests were donated by Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje to the public health sector to help the Ministry of Health and assist health authorities in dealing with the effects of the virus. With the latest donation in the total amount of 20,700,855.00 denars (about 336,600 euros), Komercijalna Banka once again gave support to the Macedonian public health sector.

“In the fight against the pandemic, we are all upright and we should all, within our capabilities, contribute to easier dealing with the pandemic. Developments show that, unfortunately, the Covid-19 virus continues to pose a serious threat to the health and lives of citizens, which depletes medical resources and the strength of health professionals. With the latest donation, Komercijalna Banka makes a new step and once again gives significant support to the society in these exceptional moments for our country and the citizens. Our goal as a bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Health is to help the health authorities in dealing with the consequences of the virus, “said Dr. Maja Stevkova Sterieva, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje.

This year, this is the fifth consecutive donation of Komercijalna Banka for the needs of public health, with which the total assistance from the Bank for health workers reached 590,000 euros.

In March, medical protective masks for the face were donated in the amount of MKD 1,198,750.00, financial assistance was provided – a donation in the amount of MKD 6,150,000.00 for the needs of the Ministry of Health and additional MKD 8,220,000.00 for employees of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases and Febrile Conditions Skopje and the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Northern Macedonia. With the latest donation, for the needs of public health institutions Komercijalna Banka provided two ambulances for emergency medical care, 280 oxygen concentrators intended for continuous oxygen therapy of patients with chronic lung diseases, 7,000 rapid tests to determine the presence of the virus-120, Cov test reagents as well as disposable and reusable non-invasive ventilation masks.
