Komercijalna Banka Produces Electricity with its own Photovoltaic System

Komercijalna Banka’s photovoltaic system produced 100 MWh of electricity in the last 3 years, preventing a release of 56 tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The photovoltaic system was installed on the bank headquarters’ roof in December 2018, contributing to cleaner air and healthier environment, an imperative on a global level and as such, part of the social responsibility strategy of the bank. Within this green project, Komercijalna Banka managed to cut almost 19 tones of CO2 emissions each year which are equivalent tot 480 newly planted trees.

AmCham salutes this kind of green initiatives and looks forward to the bank’s future investments in the field of clean energy, tackling one of the most significant challenges of the future.
