5th AmCham Healthcare Conference

The American Chamber of Commerce North Macedonia is pleased to announce the 5th AmCham Healthcare Conference, titled “Healthcare in a New Global Reality,” scheduled to take place in Skopje on 18 November 2026.

This anniversary edition will bring together senior government officials, healthcare industry leaders, international experts, and policymakers to examine how North Macedonia’s healthcare system can adapt, modernize, and remain resilient in a rapidly changing global environment.

The 5th AmCham Healthcare Conference marks five years of continuous healthcare dialogue and advocacy, gathering leading voices from government, industry, and the international community under the theme “Healthcare in a New Global Reality.” The program will open with a retrospective on five years of AmCham healthcare engagement, before turning to the central question of how North Macedonia can build a more agile, reform-driven healthcare system capable of responding to shifting global policies, supply chains, and commercial models. High-level conversations will explore healthcare’s role as a strategic driver of economic growth and national resilience, alongside what EU integration means in practice — not merely as a legislative exercise, but as an opportunity to modernize institutions, improve patient access, and strengthen evidence-based decision-making.

A particular highlight will be the international keynote by Prof. Dr. Koen Kas, healthcare futurist and professor at Ghent University, whose address will explore how data and artificial intelligence are transforming the future of healthcare — from research and diagnosis to prevention and personalized care. The conference will close with an Anniversary Networking Reception celebrating five years of AmCham healthcare dialogue and bringing together speakers, government representatives, healthcare stakeholders, and AmCham members.

We look forward to welcoming you to this milestone edition on 18 November 2026 in Skopje.
