ESG Training Sessions represent the culmination of our collective efforts within the ESG Project, whose ultimate goal is to support companies in integrating sustainable practices into their business operations.
These training sessions are designed exclusively for AmCham member companies, acknowledging their commitment to sustainability and participation in the readiness assessment activities. Hence, attendance at these training sessions is conditional upon engaging in the readiness assessment activities, specifically by completing the ESG questionnaire, which was conducted from July 31, 2023 till September 15, 2023.
There will be two different training sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our member companies.
The ESG Training 1.0 spans four days, beginning on December 11, 2023, taking a break on December 12, 2023, due to the ESG Conference, and then resuming from December 13 to December 15, 2023. The ESG Training 1.0 represents an introductory session, offering a comprehensive overview of ESG principles. As this foundational session is designed for participants seeking a solid understanding of the core concepts and their practical applications, only companies that participated in the Readiness Assessment of the ESG questionnaire may take part in it. The ESG Training 2.0 will last five days, running from January 22 to 26, 2024. It is an advanced training session tailored only for companies that took part in both parts: Readiness and Maturity Assessment of the ESG questionnaire. This session will deep dive into advanced topics, offering profound insights and strategies to help companies enhance their sustainability practices significantly.
The duration of the training for each day will be in total 4-6 hours. The number of attendees is limited to a total of 20 participants.
Both sessions will be conducted in English and will be delivered by Ms. Maria Tsidai, a distinguished expert from Impacta Consulting Greece.
Attendance throughout all days is mandatory to qualify for a certificate.

The ESG Training Sessions are a part of the AmCham North Macedonia project “Strengthening the Role of North Macedonia’s Corporate Sector Through Integration of Sustainable Investing Principles”, supported by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). Members can participate in these training sessions at no cost.
