Taking a More Structured Approach to Advocacy

As part of the project “Strengthening Advocacy Capacity for Effective Policy Engagement,” supported by CIPE, AmCham North Macedonia is taking a more structured approach to advocacy by developing dedicated advocacy plans on topics of interest to its working groups and committees. The first step has been taken with the Intellectual Property Working Group, whose efforts to operationalize the national coordination body for intellectual property now have a plan to guide them. The working group recently met to set the foundations and guidelines for drafting and operationalizing the plan. A series of activities will follow, including a broader working meeting with relevant stakeholders and continuous dialogue with decision-makers.
