CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The “Business and Government: Aligning for a Secure Digital Future” conference is designed to foster a focused conversation on the possible ways businesses and the government can collaborate to accelerate digital transformation and take actionable steps toward digitizing institutions, businesses, and society as a whole. Scheduled for November 14th in Skopje, North Macedonia, the event is expected to gather over 150 attendees, including representatives from AmCham member companies, other businesses, government bodies, international organizations, civil society organizations, and ICT professionals. 

The conference will explore key topics, including government-led digital transformation to drive economic growth, business priorities for mid-term digital initiatives, the creation of a modern regulatory framework, and the expansion of public access to e-services. By addressing these areas, the conference aims to stimulate a more competitive, innovative, and inclusive digital ecosystem in North Macedonia, positioning the country for success in an increasingly dynamic global digital economy.

MEET THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Mr. Troy LeMaile-Stovall

CEO @ TEDCO, Maryland, USA

Mr. Troy LeMaile-Stovall brings more than 25 years of experience in investment management, higher education, communications technology and management consulting. Troy currently serves as the CEO of TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, which he joined in July 2020. Prior to joining TEDCO, he served as the chief operating officer at the University of the District of Columbia and also founded the management consulting firms LeMaile-Stovall LLC and GTMS Partners, LLC. His previous roles include the interim president of Zenith Education group, principal at Butler Snow Advisory Services, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Howard University and senior vice president and chief financial officer at Jackson State (Mississippi) University. Troy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, a master’s degree in computer science from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University.
