Regional cooperation is one of the cornerstones of the Western Balkans’ economic prosperity, and the Chambers of Commerce can be the essential connective tissue across borders. With this premise, AmCham North Macedonia is striving towards enhancing the interconnectedness of both AmChams and businesses across the region, since regional cooperation is intimately intertwined with economic security.
Bearing this in mind, our Board members, Ms. Filipceva and Ms. Dimitrovski will be attending the Three Seas Summit and Business Forum, following an invitation by AmCham Bulgaria’s Executive Director – Mr. Petar T. Ivanov, during his visit to AmCham North Macedonia.
The 3 Seas Summit and Business Forum will be taking place on July 8th and 9th in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is the product of a cooperation initiative by 12 EU countries aimed to promote cooperation, first and foremost, for the development of infrastructure in the energy, transport, and digital sectors, not just within the EU, but in the region as well. It also targets new investments, economic growth, and energy security.
The attendance of regional AmCham’s at the Summit opens the doors to possibilities of future cooperation and mutually tackling issues that are of concern to the business communities in the region.
