SECOND ESG CONFERENCE
Empowering a Sustainable Business Environment
December 12, 2023
CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
As a conclusion to 2023, we are thrilled to announce the second ESG Conference, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in North Macedonia (AmCham).
Scheduled for December 12, 2023, at DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje (from 10:00 AM to 15:00 PM), this event is an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices within the corporate sector.
The Conference’s objective is to spotlight the key factors crucial for establishing a conducive ESG environment for the corporate sector. We firmly believe that by addressing these factors, we can pave the way for a sustainable, prosperous, and resilient future.
The conference will feature two keynote addresses that promise deep insights and perspectives. Presented by Kearney Slovenia, the first and opening keynote address will reveal the findings of the ESG Readiness and Maturity Assessment Analysis of our company members.
Following the keynote addresses, we will engage in a panel discussion centring around navigating corporate readiness and maturity in ESG excellence, highlighting strengths, and charting a course for improvement.
The second keynote address will provide an overview of the EU Regulatory Agenda on ESG and its relevance for the Corporate Sector in Non-EU Countries. This session will be delivered by Impacta Greece and aims to provide valuable insights into navigating ESG within a broader regulatory context.
A part of the conference will be devoted to showcasing and celebrating the best corporate ESG practices. This session will provide a platform for sharing success stories, lessons learned, and approaches to corporate sustainability.
The AmCham ESG Conference serves as a key initiative within the broader ESG Project, implemented in collaboration with the Center for International Private Enterprises. The ultimate goal of this project is to contribute to strengthening the role of North Macedonia’s corporate sector by encouraging and supporting companies to integrate sustainable investing principles into their business strategies.
