OKTA made a valuable donation of medical equipment to the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the General Hospital in Kumanovo. The donation consists of a sterilizer for gynecological instruments, two infusion pumps and a gynecological examination couch.
On this occasion, the Minister of Health, Venko Filipche and the Chief Executive Officer of OKTA, Ioannis Geroulanos visited the hospital on Friday, December 27th. The Minister highlighted that the new equipment will significantly improve the working conditions and the quality of the health care service in the Department. OKTA supported this donation by allocating funds intended for corporate gifts for its business partners to charitable activities. This practice has become part of the company’s New Year festive tradition for a third consecutive year.
The donation was conducted in cooperation with the global health care and humanitarian organization Project Hope, whose key mission is to improve the functioning of the health systems around the world. This donation is a continuation of OKTA’s previous activities to support the public health in the country. In the previous years, as part of its “Chance for Life” campaign, the company on various occasions donated incubators and other medical equipment to the Children’s Clinic in Skopje.
