AmCham’s long-standing stance for the elimination of corruption and the grey economy was brought forth on the Anticorruption and Grey Economy Public debate, held by the Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi and the Deputy Prime Minister for Fight against Corruption and Crime, for Sustainable Development and Human Resources, Mr. Ljupco Nikolovski.
In order to have economic development and better living conditions, laws cannot be just ink on paper. The participants in the public debate were introduced with the Action Plan to suppress the grey economy of the Ministry of Finance and the′′ Action 21 ′′ – the plan to suppress corruption.
