AmCham North Macedonia hosted on February 18 a meeting with the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Eric Meyer and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in the Government of North Macedonia, Mr. Fatmir Bytyqi. At the meeting discussion was held about the importance of promoting positive economic agenda, fostering and promoting greater economic cooperation in the region, and the support the chambers of commerce can give towards developing more sustainable economy and competitive business environment in the country.
The forthcoming Trade Mission with AmCham in Greece which is to be held in Skopje in late March was also discussed at the meeting. This Trade Mission, as a way to enhance the trade between North Macedonia and Greece, will provide a unique opportunity for business matchmaking between the companies of both countries.
