The legal-political landscape of philanthropy was discussed at the dialogue meeting “Regulation as a Driver of Philanthropy” hosted by Association Konekt this Thursday, within the USAID’s Partnerships for Donation Project.
The meeting was a rare opportunity to jointly discuss how to improve laws and principles for easies, faster and safer donation process. More than 70 representatives from various institutions, civil organizations and businesses were present. Realizing the benefits of philanthropy and new trends, the need for changes in laws was confirmed, as well as the use of self-regulation, common rules and good practices that will enable increased number of donations.
