Our 24th General Assembly (GA) took place on November 26th. At the GA, three new members of the Board of Directors were elected, outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives were recognized, and the organization reviewed its most significant achievements over the past year.
The event was opened with welcoming remarks delivered by Ivan Kostic, the President of the AmCham Board of Directors. H.E. Angela P. Aggeler, the Ambassador of the United State of America to the Republic of North Macedonia, addressed the GA expressing gratitude to the AmCham for its activities in the past year and shared their expectations for the successful implementation of many initiatives and projects planned for the year ahead, activities that should strengthen the domestic business ecosystem and foster regional cooperation.
Within the working sessions, the election of three members to the AmCham Board of Directors took place. Andrej Petreski (Cisco), Slavko Projkoski (Makedonski Telekom) and Bojan Stojanoski (Stopanska Banka) were elected with a two-year long term in the AmCham Board of Directors.

Following, the GA marked a significant milestone of the collaborative project implemented by AmCham, USAID, and the Association Konekt. Within the event, awards to AmCham member companies whose CSR initiatives delivered significant social impact were presented. The recognized companies and their projects included:

- Mlekara Bitola for “We grow together”
- Stopanska Banka for “Vozi pravo – Vozi zdravo”
- TITAN Cementarnica USJE for “Holistic Wellness Empowering Employee Mental and Physical WellBeing”
- Zegin for “Zegin SPECTRATON – Race of Heroes in All Colors”
Our members also received updates on the ongoing activities, with committee chairpersons highlighting key accomplishments for 2024. Upcoming priority projects aligned with 2024–2028 strategic plan was also introduced. These initiatives will focus on economic development, business environment predictability, digitalization, healthcare system improvements, human capital development, and sustainability.
