On February 17th, AmCham members had a unique opportunity to participate in the Workshop where the new ESG Reporting Guideline was presented. The Workshop was organized by the Macedonian Stock Exchange for listed companies exclusively, but was open to AmCham members, as well.
The Macedonian Stock Exchange has published its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting Guideline for listed companies. The Guideline was developed in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Guideline is intended to be a practical tool for the listed companies in the area of ESG disclosure. It aims to assist companies in their interactions with investors, help them understand how to address ESG issues internally and manage ESG factors and risks, and assist them in enjoying more visibility as a benefit of their ESG commitment.
