25 years of ECOTIP: Innovative Solutions for a Clean, Healthy & Green Future

The Macedonian company ECOTIP, in partnership with leading global water filtration systems, becomes part of projects by NASA and the European Space Agency.

For its 25th anniversary, the Macedonian company EKOTIP has established a strategic partnership with Aquaporin – a leading global company for innovative water filtration systems, which are based on a discovery awarded the Nobel Prize, and whose technology is used by NASA and the European Space Agency. The strategic partnership with EKOTIP was also welcomed by Peter Holme Jensen, founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Aquaporin, who specially visited Skopje for this occasion.

This latest strategic partnership allows ECOTIP to offer these innovative technological solutions to the domestic market, as well as in 30 other countries. These solutions are tested in space by astronauts on the International Space Station and are widely used in many industries and in people’s homes around the world.

“About 70% of Earth’s surface is covered with water, but less than 1% of it is safe to drink… and the situation is getting worse. Our most important corporate mission is through the strategic partnerships we develop with the world’s leading high-tech giants to offer innovative solutions that will help in preserving the most valuable natural resources, among which is water. We are happy and especially proud that the first 25 years of our existence are rounded off with another significant strategic partnership, like the one with Aquaporin, which allows us to make the world a cleaner and healthier place to live,” said the founder of EKOTIP, Ilija Andreevski.

Besides in the area of water and other liquid filtration, through an innovative approach, collaboration, and strategic partnerships with renowned global hi-tech companies, in the past 25 years, EKOTIP has managed to position itself as a leading domestic company offering state-of-the-art equipment, systems, and sophisticated technological solutions in areas such as: solar power production (photovoltaics), air filtration, occupational safety, and others, as well as in food and beverage production, medicine, pharmacy, automotive, metal industry, and microelectronics.

Expressing profound gratitude to all the partners, employees, and clients who played a decisive role in the development of ECOTIP over the past 25 years, Andreevski said, “The next 25 years have enormous potential for our partnerships. We are at the cusp of an era of great change and innovation where sustainable solutions and technological advancement will shape our lives. We know the way and have the solutions. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of innovation, ensuring state-of-the-art equipment that exceeds all expectations. Our mutual commitment to caring for the environment and sustainability will lead us forward, ensuring a brighter and healthier future for the coming generations.”

А special guest at the 25th anniversary celebration of ECOTIP was the Croatian singer and guitarist Darko Rundek, known to the local public as the frontman of one of the most popular music bands of all time in this region – Haustor, and a person who, with his lifestyle and creativity, shares the same values of sustainable development as the people of ECOTIP.
