With an ambitious plan for future growth, the company “Nelt ST” celebrates 25 years of work on the Macedonian market. In the conditions of the global crisis and strong challenges on the demand side, the company plans to end the year with a total turnover of over 60 million euros, which is a growth of 15 percent compared to the previous year. The Macedonian company is part of “Nelt Groupa”, which has existed for 30 years and currently, apart from the markets in the countries of the Western Balkans, it also operates in the African market, and already in the countries of the European Union – Croatia and Slovenia.
In 2022, the group achieved revenues in the amount of 1.165 million euros, and for this year the growth of the gross income is expected to 1.3 million euros.
The new partnerships in distribution and logistics and the employment of 70 new people have opened up space for further development and growth in the Macedonian market as well. Recently, the domestic company has cooperated with the “Fortenova” corporation for the distribution of the Jamnica and Diamant brands, and this year it also distributes Chachanski chips, Gritsko and Flips of the Serbian company Chips way. Sashko Blazhevski, Executive Director of “Nelt Group” for the Macedonian market, says that the company here has recorded continuous growth since 1998, when they started with only six people. They currently have close to 300 employees.
“Nelt ST” today distributes global leaders in the FMCG industry, such as: P&G, Mondelez, Jaffa, Banini, Jacobs, BIC, Dr. Dr Oetker, Duracell, Sebamed and Johnson & Johnson. In addition to Jamnica, Diamant and Chips Way, Nelt ST supplies the market with Neoplanta, Baby Food Factory – Nutrino and the national leader in its category – “Mama’s”.
Nelt Group works with more than 80 principals, over 100 logistics clients, 18 companies in 12 markets in the Adriatic region and in Africa.
