OKTA granted five scholarships to postgraduate students at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. On this occasion, the awarded students were invited to OKTA premises in Skopje, where they had a meeting with OKTA’s CEO, Mr. Vuk Radovic.
These scholarships are part of the Okta’s program “New Generation”, which is conducted five years in a row, aiming to support talented and successful students for postgraduate studies at UKIM.
„We are happy to have the opportunity to support these young and ambitious people in their further education and profiling as future professionals in their respective fields. This is the fifth year in a row that we consistently implement the program “New Generation”, through which we have provided scholarships for 40 postgraduates, and together we celebrate all the achievements they gain during the studies”, said the Chief Executive Officer of OKTA Vuk Radovic, after signing the scholarship contracts for the selected postgraduates.
All five awarded students are coming from the faculties with whose OKTA has close cooperation: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informational Technologies; Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Providing support of education for the new generations represents a significant pillar of the CSR strategy at OKTA. During the past five years, through the program “New Generation”, 40 scholarships have been granted in total, to postgraduates in North Macedonia, and seven scholarships to postgraduates at the universities in Piraeus and Crete in Greece. Additional support that is provided to young people is through the regular internships within the company.
