SASA Mine Donates 200 Tablets To Students

In order to provide the necessary conditions for all students to attend online classes, SASA Mine procured 200 new tablet computers that were donated to the schools in Makedonska Kamenica.

Specifically, 150 tablet computers are donated for students in the primary school “St. Cyril and Methodius University, and 50 tablet computers are intended for the high school “Mile Janevski-Dzingar”.

“We are aware that the Covid-19 pandemic has imposed many challenges and the need to change and adapt the way we perform our daily work responsibilities. These are particularly difficult times for students, but also for their families and their teachers who had to adjust to online classes, which requires adequate IT equipment. In communication with the management of the schools and the municipality, we determined the way to help, therefore we are satisfied that this donation will enable for the educational process to run successfully and all students to attend classes,” said the new SASA Mine CEO Scott Jeland.
