With an investment of 10 million euros, the American company “Kemet Electronics” expands the capacity of the factory in the industrial zone Skopje 1. A new line is made for automatic production of car capacitors, a new production hall, a Center for research and development of new capacitors, and a room for testing new materials.
This envisages the number of employees to increase from the current 270 to 500. According to the announcements, the new line should be put into operation in August this year, and the new hall should start operating in May 2022.
Kemet Electronics opened its factory in Skopje in October 2012. It is intended for the production of electronic products for the aerospace, military and automotive industries.
