Another regular meeting of the working group for VMS was held last Monday, July 19, to assess the need for amending the Company Law in terms of virtual shareholders meetings.
It was concluded that there are several web-based platforms that can fully support these types of meetings, therefore no interventions are recommended for the relevant law.
The next step will be to organize coordinative meetings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Notary Chamber, and the Central Trade Registry, to present their findings and suggestions to these institutions.
