The Digital Transformation Committee held its meeting on October 18th, 2021. The primary goal of the meeting was the retrospection of past activities and planning future actions of the Committee.
Activities related to the upcoming new law on digitalization and registries were the focus of the meeting, emphasizing the planned establishment of a Digital Agency and its importance in the digital transformation process. With regard to that, the submitted comments on the national ICT strategy were also presented.
Furthermore, opportunities for collaboration with the Agency for Electronic Communications’ National Center for responding to computer incidents MKD-CIRT in the field of cyber security were pointed out, including delivering lectures on topics of interest related to cybersecurity. The MKD-CIRT’s program for certified assessment of the cyber security of the legal entities was discussed as well.
Several sources for funding projects related to digital transformation were noted.
Committee members agreed on intensifying the activities for digitalization implementation. Members will take part by writing columns, involvement in the meetings with regulatory authorities, and co-creating online podcasts in the form of discussions related to the different aspects of digitalization, viz Tech Talk. Regarding the latter, the first video will be aired very soon. It will feature a discussion between two of our prominent members, which will cover profound and valuable information about the new Law on digitalization.
