The Customs Administration made a call for proposals to change rates of the customs duties in February 2021. Several AmCham Members responded to this call and submitted proposals to change rates of several customs tariffs, which are directly related to the export of raw materials essential for their products. Their general conclusion on the economic justification is that the customs duties play an important role in the analysis of potential investors when making decisions for the location of their new investment.
