Members of this group held a meeting on Thursday, March 4, 2021, to adopt their next steps for the review of the trade registry practices. It was agreed that all members should work on drafting a list of generic procedures where certain inconsistencies have been detected. The group also initiated organizing an info session with representatives of the Financial Intelligence Directorate and Central Trade Registry to discuss the legal obligations for all companies to register within the Ultimate Beneficial Owners Registry – UFO, by end of April, this year.
