On September 2nd, the AmCham Healthcare and Pharmacy Working Group held its second meeting where the members analyzed and discussed some of the key issues concerning the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, in order to define the objectives for the working group and initiate the development of an Action Plan.
The working group agreed on a range of 3 topics to be covered by the committees work, that will drive the activities within the Action Plan.
- Fostering innovation in the healthcare sector and improving access to new medicines and medical devices
- Establish a stable, transparent, and predictable regulatory environment based on constructive collaboration between the public and private sector
- Improving the efficiency of the healthcare system
The official working group lead will be selected at the upcoming meeting, along with the official plan of activities.
