The AmCham Healthcare Committee held an intro meeting with the newly appointed Minister of Health Dr. Fatmir Mexhiti in order to present the Committee goals and activities. Â
During the open discussion the importance of fostering partnership between the public and the private sector was deemed essential for a better healthcare system. The Healthcare Committee representatives asked for the Ministry of Health commitment to fast tracking the update of the Reimbursement list and adoption of the EU harmonized Law on Medicines. Â
As a follow up, the Ministry of Health presented to the AmCham Healthcare Committee members and the members of the Association of Innovative Medicines Farmabrend Nova the most urgent projects in need of corporate support. Â
